Teams friction

Teams rarely break because the people are wrong about each other. They break because no one has the words for what is actually happening between them. The friction is real. The cost is real. And everyone on the team is doing their best with the lens they currently have.

That last part matters to us. We do not arrive thinking a struggling team is a team of difficult people. We arrive thinking it is a team missing something — and what it is missing can be given.
