First, the hard part out loud: noticing that your team is not following you, and being willing to look at your own part in it, is not a weakness. It is the exact starting point where good leadership work begins.
Most programs would jump straight to telling you what to do differently. We would rather help you see what your team is actually experiencing when you show up the way you do — because once that is clear, the changes you need to make tend to become obvious on their own.
What your team is responding to is not your title. It is a pattern. And a pattern you can see is a pattern you can lead from, instead of being led by.
Nearly 7 in 10 U.S. workers say they would leave a job because of a bad manager — and most of that turnover is rated, by the people who left, as preventable.
